Hi Rika
I think it's great that you have managed to change your project at such late notice and still come up with a good plan.
Having read it there are a couple of things I would like to ask.
Under Sampling Tools - I was a uncertain as to what was meant by anecdotal verbal feedback. Could you explain how this works please?
Also, the questions in appendix 1. You mentioned a telephone questionnaire in your plan - presumably this will follow the lines of an interview with the teachers and I just wondered what the sample size would be? I couldn't quite gather any appreciation of the number of schools involved and in what areas.
hello rika
would you mind sharing the document with me so I can add feedback directly on to the document - click share when the Google doc is open, and add my email in the box which comes up.
Good on you getting it changed so quickly.
Hi Rika
Final got time to read your plan. It's very easy to read - clear and concise which is great (and I'm jealous as I wish I could write like that!!).
It sounds like a well thought out project and the kind of planning that should go on more in schools.
I liked the fact that you have given an example of paradigms other than the eclectic-mixed methods-pragmatic one, as I was struggling to see how any of those others could apply.
"The evaluation will for example, separate out specific elements from the whole picture and look at them in isolation, for example looking at teacher capability for supporting the programme based on teacher feedback". This is a good example and helps me see how this paradigm (analytic empirical positive quantitative)is usuable in an educational context. Thanks for that.
Just one question - your key questions seem to cover a lot more ground than your e-learning guidelines would suggest - are they closely linked do you think?
Cheers
Yvonne
